f(x) = sin(2x) + cos(2x) where x is an element of [0,pi]

Find the interval on which the function is increasing and decreasing.

Could somebody do this question for me please.

Do you know what "increasing" and "decreasing" mean?
Have you made a table of values for f(0) to f()?
Have you looked at a graph of f(x) in the area of the domain from 0 to ?
