please help me find what graph would be better!!!

What graph would have been better than a split bar graph to show the average monthly rainfall in two months (over a year)?
I think that the line graph would have been better because the line graph is meant to show things that happen over time.
I need at least 6 reasons to justify why the certain graph is better.
PLEASE HELP ME!!! I am very lost!!!! I really need quick, reliable help!!!

I would consider as many different graphs as possible. Surely you can make a case for each one.
