Can this be -b and m as well as b and -m ?

Give what each equation must be to eliminate the term containing x.

mx - ny = z

bx - ny = r

AND

Solve for x and y.

ax+by = r
ax+ cy = s

Can it be both x= bs-cr/a(b-c) or x= cr-bx/ac-ab
y= s-r/c-b or y= r-s/b-c

Multiply numerator and denominator by -1 so that you see that both forms are equivalent.
