Find the equation of the parabola (standard form) if the parabola has a vertex of (2,3) and a directrix of x=5.
(y - k)^2 = -4p(x - h)
(y - 3)^2 = -4(3)((x - 2)
(y - 3)^2 = -12(x - 2). Is that right? |
