First name variables:
Width of rectangle = W
Length of rectangle = L = 2W + 3 (from "...length of a rectangle is 3 more than twice its width") ................ (1)
Perimeter of a rectangle = 2L + 2W = 2(2W + 3) + 2W
perimeter is 22
2(2W + 3) + 2W = 22
Solve for 'W' from above - then solve for 'L' from (1)
