Collecting exponents for the same bases, you have
[a^(3/2 - 2 - 2)][b^(3 - 1/3 - 5/3)][c^5][d^(-1/2)]
Can you find the answer now?

f(-1/2) = 2(-1/2)^2 + (1/2)(-1/2) - 4
