Given: Little League team that has 15 players on its roster,

1)How many ways are ther to select 9 players for the starting lineup?

Here is what I did:

Forumla used Pk,n = k!/(n-k)!

P9,15 = 15!/6! = 1816214400 but the answer from the book is 362,880

What am I missing?

I believe the book's answer is wrong. the book gave the answer to 9!=362880

but you are right. since there are different positions in baseball, order matters so it should be 15P9=1816214400
