Let G be the group Zsub 20 cross under modular multiplication. List the different subgroups of G. Explain how you know that you have found all of the subgroups and how you know that all sets listed are, in fact, subgroups. |

Use the fact that the order of the group is the number of integers relatively prime to 20, i.e., the Euler totient function. Then use the definition of subgroups. |
