sahsjing	Posted - 09/27/2009 : 01:40:09 1/13 = .0769230769230769230... So, the repeating part is 769230 which is the multiple of 3. Now calculate 99/6 which has the remainder of 3. But none of the three consecutive digits is divisible by 3. Therefore, this number cannot be divisible by 3.
