If x and t are positive numbers that satisfy the equation above, what is the value of x divided by t?
The answer given was 5/4
How was this answer obtained. An explanation would be greatly appreciated. |

square both sides ...
x -t = 4t -4tx+x
0 = 5t -4tx
0 = t(5t-4x)
since t>0, 5t = 4x ... 5/4 = x/t |
