I foiled the x+2 and solved for x. the answer I got was x= - y -4x-5 but I didn't know if it was ok to still have the x in the answer. |

plot some points using my last equation and see the result for yourself. |

(x + 2) = 9 - y
x + 2 = - (9 - y )
x = -[2 + (9 - y )]
