PLEASE HELP ME OUT THE SUM;
ELIMINATE "x" FROM THE EQUATION
A= cot x + tan x
B= sec x - cos x

I think the only way to "eliminate x" is to find an identity between A and B. One way to start is to rewrite them in terms of sine and cosine.

I am not very well versed in trig identities but since no one else has replied, I thought I would give you my response:
I don't understand what you mean by "eliminate x".
"x" is the argument of the trig functions and cannot be "eliminated".
Hopefully someone here will give a better answer.
