Teacher Appreciation Week 2014

Teachers deserve some admiration and gratitude. Teacher Appreciation Week is a special time devoted to honoring teachers and their dedication to education. Whether you are a student, a parent or a teacher, this is the time to show your gratitude to a current or former teacher. This year Teacher Appreciation Week is May 5-9, with Teacher Appreciation Day on Tuesday, May 6. Here are some resources to help you celebrate!
1. Students can reflect on the important role of teachers with a lesson plan entitled Write a Teacher-Appreciation Letter.

6. The NEA offers a variety of ideas and activities for National Teacher Day, including posters and a poll.
