| Each core lesson provides in-depth
instruction through step-by-step examples, detailed explanations, definitions, illustrations, a summary and
interactive exercises. Some definitions are viewed in small pop-up windows, activated
by links. This unique design gives students the option of viewing terms
that may be unfamiliar to them. Definitions that are the object of
instruction are contained in the body of the lesson. At the end of each
core lesson there is a summary and five interactive exercises. Students
can apply what they have learned in each lesson by solving these problems.
Our lessons are designed for on-screen use. |
| For each unit there is a page of interactive practice
exercises. These are ten review problems for independent practice.
For each unit, there is also a page of interactive challenge exercises
with ten advanced problems. Students will formulate a strategy for solving
each problem and then apply these strategies to solve routine and
non-routine problems. Educators and
parents can use these resources as interactive
worksheets or as assessment tools. |
| Whenever possible, exercise problems are drawn from the real world. The
interactive exercises provide students with immediate feedback.
Some units have as many as 65 interactive exercises, so students get
plenty of practice. Detailed
exercise solutions are also provided for those students who need
step-by-step answers. |
| For each unit, there is a corresponding set of worksheets
and answer keys. A set of bonus worksheets are also included. These resources are designed to be printed. |
| For each unit, there is also a corresponding set of crossword puzzles.
There are interactive crosswords with three levels of difficulty designed for
on-screen use. A printable version of each crossword is also provided. Our crosswords are a fun way
for students to hone their math vocabulary skills. Solutions to all puzzles are provided. |
| Our interactive learning games
are unique and engaging. Each game is designed to be a fun activity for learning specific math concepts.
Our newest game is Fraction Goodies. Other games include Integer
Football, The Interactive Factor Tree, Percent Goodies and Probability
